{"id":339,"date":"2015-01-26T18:54:58","date_gmt":"2015-01-27T01:54:58","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.magicwolf.com\/wanderings\/?p=339"},"modified":"2017-02-28T22:18:09","modified_gmt":"2017-03-01T05:18:09","slug":"68-degrees-in-january","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/www.magicwolf.com\/wanderings\/68-degrees-in-january\/","title":{"rendered":"68 Degrees in January!"},"content":{"rendered":"<h4><strong><span style=\"color: #ff9900;\">Sometimes bi-polar weather has it&#8217;s advantages.<\/span> <\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>When it&#8217;s not spewing mega-hail or obliterating everything with a massive blizzard, you can get and enjoy the flip-side of this benefit.<\/p>\n<p>The temperature inversions are caused by being up against the mountains and the occasional Chinook that blows through doesn&#8217;t hurt, either.<\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s January and I was outside in my shirt-sleeves today and motorcycles whizzing by&#8230;because it&#8217;s 68 degrees here! A month earlier than this type of heat-wave hit us last year. Absolutely no complaints about that one.<\/p>\n<p>Last year in February, we were climbing hoodoos in our shorts. They&#8217;re never sure if they should stay or go!<\/p>\n<p>A benefit of Hhrbie is that you can lay down the seats, all the way up to the front passenger seat if you want, and stretch out and take a nap. I keep Hhrbie equipped in fact with a pillow and extra blanket just for these nap-attack occurrences.
